See attached image. The iwd file contains one iwi file in the images folder i used to test. It gets to the download part then gives off the error.

I was playing on "Sirtherev and crazyexecutioner DOM" and I got fucking banned just because I was winning! There were no rules on the server and I got fucking banned for spawn sniping and qsing and shotgunning, it's bullshit because that's the only server with people on it and low ping. I got banned all because the admin fucking raged. - I know this post is pointless, but I just wanted to relieve my rage.

I havent really been playing mw2 since mw3 came out, but as mw3 is starting to get really annoying from time to time i chose to play some fourdeltaone. its really good and alot of fun so not poblem there, but here today as i logged into my steam accout i got smacked with this message "ban(s) on record" on my steam page. as i said i havent been playing mw2 for a long time and i have never been cheating. one thing i noticed was that every time i started 4D1 it would show it on steam as the normal MW2. where do I use svncheckout to in my mw2 folder?

Hey everyone I've just successfully run my first MW2 Server on my Debian Squeeze machine after fighting with wine etc. (Voting for a stickied "Howto setup a Server"!) So as I finally joined my newly created Server, I noticed that the XP-Numbers in the middle of your screen (when you kill someone) are actually grey and there is no progress bar at the bottom, so I still keep being lvl 1. Is there any config variable that I've missed? I've searched the forum (using the wrongly-linked "Search" button up there) and couldn't find any thread that is related to my problem. Sincerely, Luk

Those non-steam/pirate gamers are mostly newbie players, who ruin the overall playability of the game and I can never get the same excitement when playing on steam. So is there a way to keep those non-steam players away from my server?

Ok I loaded all my files correctly into my MW2. Today I decided I was going to hop on to play and i had just put in the proper demofixes. I played for awhile, My friend invites me for some gwk. As it stands right now, as per the pointstreak system that runs with my Specialist mod, kills and dogtag collections both count towards one's pointstreak. However, this makes acquiring pointstreaks nearly unfairly easy, as you can get a MOAB thus in 12 kills or even less. If any of you have an error with raw.iwd, and can't understand the instructions, here's a picture tutorial. First, create a new folder called m2demo in the base directory of your MW2. Put your raw_85.rar in this folder. Now extract it using 7-Zip, or WinRAR. Your m2demo folder should look like this. Remove raw.iwd if you still have it ANYWHERE in your MW2. Whenever I try to play a demo, It starts as usual, but then it freezes and says "Connection to the server timed out." Anyone know why, or how I can fix it?

Whenever i join a server or even if i'm on the menu, my game will start to flicker. NO it isn't my graphics card, loose connection etc... as every other game is working with no problems. Any ideas as to why it's happening and how I can solve it? THANKS
