Those non-steam/pirate gamers are mostly newbie players, who ruin the overall playability of the game and I can never get the same excitement when playing on steam. So is there a way to keep those non-steam players away from my server?

if they are tubing or something other noobish use a mod which doesn't allow it

Some people playing non-steam are people from aIW, who are pretty experienced.

What you are really asking is how to keep noobs off your server and just generalizing pirates as noobs which is generally the complete opposite....

You can delete my post. But I don't want myself misunderstood. I'm not talking about players using noob weapons, but overall competitability. They are too easy to kill. So there is no fun there. And my statement was based on my experience with Chinese players.

If there was a way to check for non-steam/pirate gamers to be stopped on a server, Activision sorry, Craptivsion would force us to impliment into the NP server, or our client. It's a good thing it's not possible.

Might add a flag in the future for checking the server-side value, though it'd be bypassable as well.

Nta, I've noted that the patch DOESNT WORK ON THE NEWEST REVISION, so how about you make the iw4m server or login (whatever) check to see if they have the latest RELEASED revision, and if not, have them download the latest and they can't play unless updated? I'm quite sure when we have the auto updates that we will have this function, as every time the game starts it will look for updates and download them, but I'm well aware that you are capable of doing this.

But, even so, Im well aware NTA is able to patch the patch...

LOL the community is already very small so if we divide for stupid reasons this won't even get better, I'm not playing with the official version becasue I have not the money to pay it, but i'm sure people who plays with me can say I'm a regulard CoD gamer not using any cheat or being an asshole with tub...etc.
