As SpeedCap's legacy version (the one with no wrapper page containing advertisements) is being discontinued soon, and no proper alternatives seem to exist that are as 'light' as gyazowin/speedcap (not requiring a process to run continuously, using a OS X-style selector as only UI) and don't use a wrapper page, I'm thinking of starting a 4D1-hosted gyazowin fork (with URLs like i/2/a.png; still shorter than speedcap URLs; or maybe refint.org even) for people to at least have sensible image links on #fourdeltaone and related channels/the forums.

After all, it only takes one line of code changes for gyazo to work on your own server..

It isn't that hard to change a upload server in code. I mean, I experimented with it myself a bit.
