After a long wait we, Zombiefan564 and I, have decided to release our new mod: The popular survival gametype from MW3 in MW2. The mod is still to be improved, so consider it a beta.

 

 

I suppose there's not much to say, so I'll post some videos and the download link. Be sure to share your thoughts on the mod!

Credits:

Rendflex and Zombiefan564 for creating the mod itself.

EMZ for the amazing work on making the menus.

The mod is based on Tinkie101's RSE bots, so full credits goes to him for the AI system, even though it's slightly modified.

Momo5502 for making the helicopters.

 

Bugs which affects gameplay:

 

* Bots might get stuck at corners.

* The mod becomes laggy in dedicated servers, and is therefore not recommended to use on dedicated servers.

Things to note:

-Predator missile disappeared(Bought it, but wasn't usable)

-Bots randomly freeze and then despawn when you look at them.

-Screen didn't show some parts of the hud(Because of my 1680x1050 resolution?)

Rendflex told me that this is because the HUD was made for one resolution. He could make it for others, but there is no way of detecting the resolution and as such it doesn't work properly.

Right, you'd do best playing in windowed mode.

It actually should be.

That was my idea too, but how would you notify it through script? Unlike black ops, you can't "print" clientdvars through scriptmenuresponse.

This mod is awesome..ok so i play and so far these are bugs that i get

- cant buy the predator missile.

- the bots dissapear even if you dont shoot em.

 

one thing i noticed is that the helicopters are gonna be to OP for some players, but i like that... BTW guys this mod is F.EPIC!!! 8-)

The mod is amazing!

It will be great if it will work also in ported sp maps (such as contingency, oilrig...)

Also, is it possible to add weapon attachments menu?

 

SP maps will be added if someone makes waypoints for those maps, as we've used the waypoints which came with the RSE mod and those do not support SP maps.

Regarding the attachment menu, we'll see about that in the future :P
