And what I can see from your pics, is that I'll have fun .. I hope.

But you can't even play it, as you need to log-in to be able to play.

 

Like I said, playing the game is not my main goal (but I might try, and maybe will since I prepared few stuff), but I want

to look into game files and see what I can do.. for other games.

I think the only server is actually offline (well, I can't decrypt the message I receive).

EDIT : I finished descrypting the message, I was right, it is kind of offline ATM

Dunno' what you mean, but the only important (I do think they are the most) executable files are :

 

- Client.exe (launcher)

- codoMP_client_shipRetail.exe (Directly launchs the game)

- TPatcher.exe (I guess it updates the game)

 

There's also a "dwauth.ini" which containt a sort of address (authentification server I think)

it is used for ip detection and such

 

also graphically you would say it's an IW branch engine (presumably IW5/main-like), but ui_viewer_mp.ff suggests BO code (or backported - ui_viewer is the 3D player model stuff) and the scaleform file seems like a new implementation of scaleform UI other than Treyarch's old code used in Quantum of Solace.

- engine seems IW4-based at least, hybrid of IW4/IW5 with more Treyarch code

- unused dvar names are changed to numbers in the dvar registration

- game uses party netcode, i.e. matchmaking stuff

- asset type list matches IW4 with added 'weapon attachment flexibility' (attachments separate from weapons, IW5 and T6 also have this)

master131 found a fix to incorrect iwi format.

You can either just change it using 1 iwi or even use a folder.

Simply drag and drop onto the exe and wait.

For those interested, the IWIs are the same format as the ones used in MW2/MW3 but use a different version byte which causes IWIxDDS to fail. The tool that DidUknowiPwn posted can fix the IWIs so it can be opened again. It can also convert the fixed IWIs back to ones that are compatible for the game for texture editing and whatnot.
