Hey there guys. I'm working on a little "launch trailer" so to speak of the rev 119 which brought nuketown.

 

 

Please note all the audio effects are missing, the gameplay sounds are missing too (and will be added later on), and some gaps that now have clips will be fill in with text, following the intro scheme.

 

I'd like you to write down your feelings about the entire thing, and help me come up with ideas for what to say in between clips (such as "a brand new map for IW4M", "nuketown on mw2, for the first time ever"). Only constructive criticism will be taken into consideration (comments such as "oh my god this song sucks" will be just skipped).

 

Some more feedback on the structure of the video (introduction - clips - text - clips - outtro) would also help.

 

I'll read all suggestions, apply some, and just skip others.

Oh and also, as said above turn off the hud and the server messages.

I wouldn't hide the hud, how would people know YOU killed those people? +people like having +300 OMGSHOTS

I think he doesn't mean he should remove the HUD completetly, but use "g_hardcore 1" to hide the ammo counter, score and so on.

If you gave me some time in the weekend, I would get more clips(more weapons, throwing knife/equipment, basic sniping) and would send it in .avi, mega has a very nice upload speed anyway

Just try to get something and send it asap, I'll upload the video whenever I think it's finished.

 

Uploaded a little revision, Preview 2. Some minor changes. Clips will be shorter. There are going to be more flyovers. There will also be a little space dedicated to the new mouse pointer. Now the final song mix is included, so that you can check how it ends. I need clips of killstreaks too. There will also be a little note at the end regarding the golden camo gameplay: "The golden camouflages featured on this video are part of separate downloadable content. Link on the description".

Also, what about m40/some other sp weapons? I can easily use them in demo, so for example using intervention will appear as m40. I just need weap_oilrig.ff from ntauthority as somethings wrong with my buildnumber.h lol

Record a killstreak "attacking" i.e. a predator and while it's coming down get a quick glimpse of it. Also do a spectator version of demo i.e. the match is occurring while in like a spectator state. Maybe Bas can help with that.

Hm, someone could check my demo, got a predator there. Not sure about ac130 though, always got killed on 10killstreak when knifeonly
