Hey there guys. I'm working on a little "launch trailer" so to speak of the rev 119 which brought nuketown.

 

 

Please note all the audio effects are missing, the gameplay sounds are missing too (and will be added later on), and some gaps that now have clips will be fill in with text, following the intro scheme.

 

I'd like you to write down your feelings about the entire thing, and help me come up with ideas for what to say in between clips (such as "a brand new map for IW4M", "nuketown on mw2, for the first time ever"). Only constructive criticism will be taken into consideration (comments such as "oh my god this song sucks" will be just skipped).

 

Some more feedback on the structure of the video (introduction - clips - text - clips - outtro) would also help.

 

I'll read all suggestions, apply some, and just skip others.

It actually has a drop shadow. So you're telling me to remove the shadow, make it transparent, or both?

Also, that new intro looks sweeeeet, can you upload it separately (private)? I think it should be our next standard intro.

Also, the "presents" text should be "straight" from the beginning. Its just my opinion, yes, but I think these kinds of effects where the letters are moving around oddly and in different directions, are silly and childish.

Looks nice as hell, especially the intro. I love it! Also for the Nuketown clip add an overview of the map i.e. go into spectator and fly around. And at the end of the trailer use momo5502's nuketown ending sequence

Tried to do this today. However, I forgot the command to hide the HUD. If there's anyone here willing to remind it to me, I'll gladly appreciate it.

That enhances the "hey, we have DIFFERENT and AWESOME stuff!" However, I can mix a bit of everything.

Loading screen takes too long, you could cut it out while its loading with a trasition effect?

 

Also it would be nice to see some 3rd person views and slow-motion like in the Nuketown 2025 trailer.

This, totally agree.

Looks great! As The_Inhuman already said, some killstreak action would be nice.

you need to sync the clips with the beats in the music

and as others said, loading screen should only be max 3sec, other clips should be cut to remove the scenes without action; or flyovers

 

also, how long are you aiming for? as the music cuts out halfway through.., quite awkward.

 

some other ideas:

maybe you could record you opening the laptop that comes with killstreaks, then masking the actual video on top of the laptop - so it appears to be playing in the laptop, then you zoom in or whatnot.

 

I could have a go editing if you send me some clips, but then again, rechyyy is more suited for this.
