In your honest opinion what's a nice feature to implement into IW4M? I'm thinking of trying something but it all depends on the community's opinion. Nothing crazy like iw_tool or radiant, something simple like fixing the friends list and stuff like that.

Having the 'Favorites' part of the Server Browser working, or the server list being 100% complete every time you hit refresh (it still seems to be hit-and-miss as to which servers show up).

That would be my suggestion.

Add password popup when connecting to a server with password.

I would like the suggestion of adding new camos that you guys suggsted before..

1 Friends-list connected to the forum-friends.

--> 2 Custom menu (unless the is one), to make privates with the new 4D1 DLC-maps without console > (so I could just select the map from a list.)

3 Hol on, I'm thinking...

4 Well... just new maps (if possible) and new ideas for new great mods (like the NightMod, and stuff like that)

Re-implement matchamking with a unique playlist, new maps support, 18 players, mixed official game modes (CTF/TDM...etc), and no mod possibilities for the host...

Re-implement matchamking with a unique playlist, new maps support, 18 players, mixed official game modes (CTF/TDM...etc), and no mod possibilities for the host...

Matchmaking should be a big no, imo.

Implementing stuff that is only available via ingane-console via custom menus.

Like the Connect Command (add something like direct connect to the main menu and show a little popup to type the ip) or the game types like GunGame as well as the new maps in the private match options.

 

Maybe even a button to start recording in-game and a recorder browser like the theatre menu, that used to be available in the mods section.

 

Also a proper working friend list, that does not use steam and has features like inviting to a private match and/or join the same dedicated server as your friend did, would be nice.

Erm... No. iw4dlc files are simply files that contain information to install the DLC... you already have to have downloaded the files. And the ability to redirect mod downloads would be nice... simply return a different url to the files when the client requests them.

What I would like to see in 4D1:

 

- Working "Friends-Menu" with ablility to connect to their matches and inviting them to private matches.

- Theatre-Mod inbound would be cool, with own menu and command/button to start/stop recording. (There's already a mod so maybe just help the creator with some issues and make it better and as a part of the game, not just a mod.

- Add the new weapons & maps that are currently developed and ported by the new IW_TOOL.

- Add the new gametypes and (sp-)maps to the "private lobby-lists" (like in the MOD MENU V5.1 mod)

it would be nice if you could fix the harier/airstrike bug in the theatre mode, maybe you can build a theatre point in the main menu and do a nice friend list in which you can join your friends

Ok, weird idea.

When recording a demo, pressing actionslot button when harrier/otherselectalocationks is the active one, will execute /stoprecord , and after the location ui disappears it automatically resumes the demo, using a name like this /*demoname*_2

then _3 and so on, so you could playback them without breaking anything
