Level hackers are cancer, some people use IW4M only to be able to lvl hack and get the gears they can't unlock by spending the time it should have deserved to unlock it and we end up with non-sense shit all around with kiddos having supa awesome titles and playing like shit and everybody being level 70 with fucking high prestige, I mean what's the point ?

 

If the game have a stat feature that's not so we can fuck this up like we don't give a shit, it's made so we can show off with our titles and camos like hell when we unlocked them

 

So staff, thank you for this, I just could not stand all the lvl hackers all around in IW4M anymore and I'm glad you decided to stop this in IW5M.

You may also want to look at it from the other side; nerds people who play 24/7 (or atleast multiple hours a day) will have an advantage over these that play let's say just some hours on the weekend (pro perks, better weapons, etc.)

If you want pro perks,better weapons etc you must play for it.

Well I agree with you for this, I'd say a stat transfer thingy would be nice but it would immedialty allow kiddos to lvl hack, so well deal with it :/

Well, it's neither my problem because I pwn anyway. But as I am not that egoistic as you I also thought about other people.

Don't just blame everyone who hacks their stats.

I spend most of my time helping people with problems with their games/servers. I rarely have time to play. And when I go, most of the times is to test something. I hacked my MW2 stats with console commands to be able to test some weapons and their reported behaviour.

Seems that on MW3, I'll be forever playing with the default classes. How will I be able to test .dsr configurations if I can't test the server with the weapons that I'm supposed to be blocking, for example?

Will you tell me to "stop wasting my time helping people when I could be playing a game" ?

Forbid level hacking was a choice. A good choice to many (like you). But it has it's side-effects to people like me.

Well I've worked from 0-70 in mw3 on the xbox, teknomw3 AND steamMW3. Not looking forward to doing it again.

I changed my stats in MW2 because I do not play all that often and that way I can chose what gun I want and just have fun... I guess everyone has their own opinion but I believe if they want to rank to the highest prestige and unlock all guns and what not then just let them be... It is not really your concern at the end of the day is it?

I am 15 prestige and it will be really hard to get it again, import stats should be allowed but I do not write the rules.

why do you hate level hackers so much,high levels don't have an advantage whatsoever and everyone reaches top level at some point even total noobs

You can hack your stats on steam, so if import was allowed from steam, it would be the same thing as level hacking.

Why should he have to work hard all over again? I think they should allow level hacking, at least until TNet is out.

I guess you have'nt played MW3 on steam. Well i have and there are hackers on steam as well. You may not find them as often as Teknogods but there are alot of hackers. I think level hacking should be allowed in IW5M cuz its not harming another player. So i think level hack should be allowed.

I'm legitly 9th prestige on MW2 on the PS3, was it wrong for me to hack my level to 9th prestige lvl 70 on 4D1? Note that I didn't unlock any attachements/perks.

I totally agree with you! The game should be the way it is supposed to be. This makes it more fun and more equitable for all.

I think it's a good idea to forbid it, even if it'll be a little bit hard to get our prestiges again.

But (I think it's a no but) will we be able to "hack" ELITE stuff ? I never did that on legit Steam since I hate hacking stuff, but on 4D1, I think it should be allowed. For sure, levels, other emblems/prestiges etc shouldn't be allowed. Or maybe the staff could find a way to give us ELITE stuff.

This is a very major issue, but needs to be addressed precisely.

 

There is a difference between LEVEL HACKING and IMPORTING STATS from Steam or Tekno..

 

The former one is what is objectionable, but what about the later one?

 

Rank hacking should not be allowed, and be made bannable, because, it will ruin the leaderboards, in case TNET is implemented. And also that doesnt go with the spirit of "fair gaming".

 

The question is what will people do, who have gained higher Prestiges in Steam or Tekno?

 

An alternative (according to me), would be One-time Automatic importing/exporting ONLY, and disabling assets like High XP (for servers), EAM (or manual hacks) etc, so that people cannot exploit them. And locking the levels/prestiges/callsigns/emblems etc AGAINST THAT PARTICULAR PLAYER (confirming FINALLY, that he has imported)

 

If some Import/Export feature is not there, then it will be hell for anyone who has already played on Steam or Tekno (for 9 or 5 months resply) and gained higher prestiges, (to start from Level 1).

 

Leveling up Prestiges or EARNING Callsigns, Emblems is a one time charm, no one would be willing to do the same again. (Leaving new comers aside, who haven't played MW3 as such)

Developers: Leave this issue aside if it not practically possible, because of Versions mismatch etc etc...
