Well we were on a scrim on mw2, and one of the player was kicked Cheat Detected (#30004) Is the first time we see this, but we are happy with it, we dont know if this is part of the new upgrades of the game but we just wanna say thanks for your work and effort in this game and the other ones. Is it possible to change Mw2's weapons sounds? It will be great!And replacing them with black ops ones, they are way much better than mw2's sounds.

i heard you can change your name in the forum... tried it and it works for the forum but not on 4d1 mw2 and mw3... i made like 10 accounts and they all dont work:(

Hi guys, when a server tryes to load a custom map (oilrig, Prypiat,...) i get an "Unrecoverable error" from directX. It happens even when i try to load them by console on my own. What to do? Thanks.

So yesterday (03.11.2012) i play for like 3 hours, got marathon pro and some couple of lvls i dont remember how many maybe 3-4. Again yesterday night i got in to game for 20 mins and saw that all my gained lvls + marathon pro was gone and set back to a point before that "3 hours". Nevertheless i palyed the game for 30 mins and again got a lvl. Now (04.11.2012) i got in to game again and my gained lvl is gone again and set back to the point beforehand of that "3 hours" i played. What is the reason for this? Is it going to happen whenever i play? Clearly my user data is not registered to the server and not updated so the game calls for previous data (probs a backup …

okay so im new to all of this pc gaming! i have mw2 torrented and i have working single player (but no multiplayer obviously) so i was wondering if anyone has a tutorial for me? i have downloaded iwm4 or something like that and i only downloaded the first link do i need the dedicated server? Please a tutorial would be thanked and thanks to all that sees this topic!

Just to clear things up before I get to the problem: 1. I have checked upnp and port/firewall/AV for anyproblems with that 2. Even tested using brand new Windows install on same internet 3. Tried reinstalling, switching dlls, even compiling my own from the svn So heres the problem: I can only view non-US servers. For some odd reason my FD1 only displays EU and other non-US servers, It used to work (minus a few servers here or there missing), but the all of a sudden now I can't view any US servers. Any help would be much appreciated

First of all im not complaining about the service or anything, ive got the game on steam i can play when i want, i just want to express my opinion. I know this game was harder to emulate than for example was COD2 and cod4 and i really appreciate all the work, but i dont like the idea of having all those checks, the auth server, the NP server and those, since the NP is for whatever reason very often down, i wonder are they all neccesery? The game would be a lot more active/played, much less problems would occur and also there would be not so much pressure and spam threads about failing to play, or at least if the NP server was excluded and the login/auth left, since i n…

I know that there are several topics about stats problems out there but i didn't find one that help me solve my problem... All the new things i unlock resets after the game close as well as the weapons and classes - I am prestige 11 ( from the date of setplayerdata ) - I don't have unlock the skull spinning icon - I tried /resetstats but after the game close is reset to prestige 11

Damn it, I remember downloading utorrent for the SOLE purpose of AlterIW, and I remembered loving that, but now I just.. Don't know where the hell I am meant to download this at? Seriously, where can download this? I do indeed have mw2 bought, I just need the damn client. Hey, Would it be possible to implement the old aIW M1 client's lobby-like servers? like 'find match' and you select the gametype you want and it finds a match for you?

So i successfully installed IW4M, and when i run it, i will be able to search for servers and see them but the client just crashes and gives me a black screen. i have to turn my computer to sleep and turn back on, run task manager and end the task of the running programs. i looked on FAQ and couldnt find this problem/solution.

Hey, been playing 4D1 for a couple of days now, and I've noticed that only some of my demo recordings actually save, and surprisingly enough, it's the ones that I actually want. I open the console, and type in /record blahblah before the game, and before it ends I type /stoprecord, shouldn't that save it? Anyway, this is getting kinda annoying so please answer. If this has been posted with a answer already, then I am sorry, but I did not see it. -ClassiQ
