So i think it would be possible to play with more players, 64 wwould be nice :D

 

Connecting more than 18 clients is not a problem, the problem is related to the game engine ;)

Yes, I have heard of people running 20+ slot servers, but it's unbelievably and impractically unstable.

 

Why would it be though?^ due to server lag and stuff? all cod4 servers seem to cope fine, and 64 slots is what makes cod4 and pc so fun in some respects.. :P

you cant had lean i believe there is a lot of stuff that make it impossible (lack of animations and suff like that )

1. Camouflage system as in black ops. The camouflaged guns are half covered in the pattern and half in solid colors (i.e. the stock on the Commando, or the metal parts on the AUG, or the tape on the FAMAS F1, and so on) This way we could create the nicest looking weapon ever. I have not figured it out yet, but I think there are separate files for each gun where the solid color is applied. Of course the main skins are worn-off and scratchy, I can help for that.

 

2. (with permission) Mods actually implemented in the game. Like that the theater mode is in the game by default(which you can turn off), and of course an option to record a demo, but not via console. So in the options window you can bind the keys or make it like in MW3.

 

3. The extra two camouflage slots need to be implemented again. If one of them would be gold, idea #1 will work beautifully, making the guns gold and black. You can edit the solid color files manually and maybe even the gold color so your gun will be chrome, or shining red. I know this is practically impossible since the engine won't allow these things (as with #1), but it would be cool whatsoever.

2) Theater mode is very nice! I want it in game by default too. For demo recording, like console_mp.log files a dvar cg_autodemo = 1 make it record up to 20 records. after that number it will be deleted (by older to newer)

3) Camo slots are empty :/ 1 of must be gold i think. Other slot (if available) must be Swat / Spec ops camo (night)

Alpha channel is no problem at all. I am busy making all guns with different or less camouflage places. For example, the metal parts of the M14 EBR are camouflaged now, instead of the plastic parts. The real problem is that the engine needs to be modified to be able to read and use the different camo files.

I have been trough the NO textures a minute ago, and I found there are no separate files. However, it's hardcoded into the game where what camouflage is applied. If you edit the AK-47, and change the camouflage places outside of the plastic parts, the upper and lower receiver, your gun will be tan, regardless what camouflage is applied.

About your camouflages you posted, I'll be happy to make them if you want them; so I can take a break from the endless skinning.

More maps (we have quite a few new ones now, even if I never see a server running them)

 

Rebalance existing content (nothing is super-overpowered or anything, but still; might be hard given how everything kills so quickly in this game)

I know a lot of professional cod4 players that decided to give 4d1 a try and i'd like to thank Burn Gaming and High' Clan for hosting promod tounaments and supporting competitive play. :D

Im gonna try and be really original with this one.

 

 

1. the ability to choose your playermodel from the list of player models already in the game.

 

2. theater mode(totally unoriginal, i know. still want it.)

 

3. the ability to change the weather and skybox of a map(server sided of course) that way the maps aren't always the same, like sometimes they could be night.

Single Player Fixed with ingame console, ablity to use god, give ammo, noclip of course lol

Co-op mode (it works but other player model is a big fx error)

Spec Ops Serverlist perhaps? that way its not hard to find another spec ops player. :)

Ability to rename your username on the forum & game once every 1 month period.

Ability to delete stats once every 1 month period
