Hi guys, I've just made a background/splash replacement per IW4M/IW5M, what do you think?

How to:

(IW4M) Download the version you want: v1, v2, v3, extract it, and place logo.bmp and splash.bmp into the main folder (where you have iw4m), and the other files in main / iw_03 (open it with winrar) / images;

(IW5M) Download the version you want: v1, v2, v3, extract it, and place logo.bmp and splash.bmp into the main folder (where you have iw5m), and the other files in main / iw_00 (open it with winrar) / images;

 

Obviously you can use those images also as desktop wallpaper.

yep, it don't need some crazy tweak, just to match the logo.

you can keep the current structure, and change the 'boxes' background.

or, for an easy living, choose a phpbb style and tweak it a bit.

They definitely look nice, makes the normal backgrounds for the games look dull in comparison.

But isn't the current forum theme just temporary anyway ? I mean it' obviously the phpbb default theme, which is very clear and functional, but makes -in my opinion- the forum look like a joke

afaik we are going to use this default PHPbb theme until we get TNet working and then make a theme that matches it. Or until someone makes a temporary theme.

I think that if you already have MW3 in the original Steam folder, it's going to install it there. Rename the Steam folder, and run it again.
