I got one tip, make a clean install of MW2.

 

And then put the 4D1 files and use the updater.

i keep getting ''Steam must be running to play this game'' WHEN im talking to a friend of mine on steam.. :evil:

but when i try to join a game

it says "wepon index mismatch distructable car"

Do I have to download the installer if I just want to update the game? I downloaded the standalone client updater but it doesn't work when I try to run it (I don't know where to put the DBNetwork.Indigo.dll file) help? sorry its a dumb question :/

You have to put the DLL and LaunchIW4M.exe in the root folder of MW2: if you installed MW2 in "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2", you have to put them in the "call of duty modern warfare 2" folder.

I have a problem, my game is freezing alot in every match I play in... Like it freezes for 10 seconds and others see me as frozen guy and I'm sitting duck and its really annoying cuz I can't enjoy my gameplay because even though I'm frozen they can still kill me... alteriwnet used to freeze too, but not that often, it froze like once every 10 gameplays for 10 seconds... but fourdeltaone seems to be freezing all the time like every half minute for 10-20 seconds...

 

does anyone know what shuld I do to repair freezing?

hi all. the problem i got is the updater doesn't seem to be updating my files fully, as i am missing some maps.

 

 

where can i download the maps?

May I get the info on what the iw4m updater updates, I mean what are the files?

I installed this on my mw2 folder where aIW offline server had already been created.

I can start the server, i.e., IWNetserver executable, it works good but the problem is whenever I try to join any game I get the "Fetching playlist..." problem. I have tried applying many playlist files, none seem to work. It says that the playlist version available is 379 and while mine is 0. I do have another PC where I haven't installed 4D1 updates, it seems to join even on my host pc but I can't? :shock:

 

So now hoping to get the info about the files that are updated so that I can create a batch file to switch between the old and the 4D1.

After I updated not use the mod anymore CSR, the error below ..

i just got this as well^^, is it my graphics that crashed or the game?

aIW was taken down because of going on to BlackOPS and MW3, not anything related otherwise.

Try using the Installer instead. If it cant extract try extracting it using WinRAR.
