When installing i get the something went wrong. launchcomponent.zip didnt extract properly please help

Try using the Installer instead. If it cant extract try extracting it using WinRAR.

when i start up the game i can join the game but when the loading is done i cant connect to the game..

 

it gives the error code : fatal error (0xc0000005) at 0x6ed3a8c2

a minidump has been written to iw4m-3.0-94-20120531130036.dmp.

 

please help

Hei, I had the same problem and, I used a simple fix.

 

go to MW2 root folder, then go to miles folder, u should find there a file called mssmp3.asi .

 

Next step is to Rename this file to mssmp3.bak . This worked for me. Cheers!
