Hello I need help when I use the installer I get a message saying 7za is not a win 32 application then it says launch components did not extract properly.

 

When I use the launcher it gives me some system.net error.

 

and when I try and login it says couldn't connect to fourdeltaone.net error 7 message

 

can you please help me?

SO I still need help, it didnt updated nothing, I unzipped the "LaunchComponent" in my install folder, consisting the "LaunchIW4M.exe" and the "DBNetwork.Indigo.dll", but everytime I launch the iw4m appears this error message.

What can I do, im starting to get desperate!!!!!

Hi, I keep getting this error when the console starts (If u get this error, u need to watch my video again cause u didnt do everything.) when I press ok of course the console closes, I tried everything, re-installed so many times, I tired having the files that r in the original game folder from a friend that have the game running and I also get the same error, I tried so many solution to different problems hoping that it would solve mine but nothing, the problem is I don't know what is the error exactly so that I can fix it, anyone can help me please?

P.S. I used to run the game normally on AIW on both m1 and m2 version, and I can run the game on aRev m1 and m2 as well without any problems.

as far as i know fourdeltaone and alteriwnet aren't supported windowXP, right??

Hei, I had the same problem and, I used a simple fix.

 

go to MW2 root folder, then go to miles folder, u should find there a file called mssmp3.asi .

 

Next step is to Rename this file to mssmp3.bak . This worked for me. Cheers!

 

what Operating System do you use, vista, XP, win7 what? do you know if it works on all operating systems?

FYI: this fix ^^^ does stop the mini dump on vista, for me at least but it also removes the background music in game.

Like i said , i use XP SP2 , and i don't know if works on W7,Vista or other OS.. . I posted this fix because I thought might help others.

Remove any steam*.dll (except for steam_api.dll) from your game directory.

When you can fix to work at win xp not only for win 7?
