I was on aRev, but it was just a copy/paste that never worked great.

 

It was cool when 4d1 wasn't able, but now i haven't any problem of lag or anything.

I believe the answer, as somewhere above said it, is to re-install the client

I had some trouble with this error:

 

"Fatal error (0xc0000005) at 0x10024a5e.

A minidump has been written to iw4m-3.0-94-20120527143306.dmp."

 

The way to fix this, is to uninstall the game and delete all the mw2 folders.

then you instal the game back, and follow these instructions:

 

viewtopic.php?t=2040

 

Do this all in this folder: Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2

When Standalone client updater finishes downloading a cmd error window pops up and says:The MSS DDL file is installed in the Windows or Windows System directory-it must be installed in the application directory and then onother window pops up which says iw4m.dat error apllication.I have placed mss32.ddl file in the game directory but the error still occurs.At present,i use AlterRev but i would like to install 4D1..I had the same problem in the past but i found out in the forums how to fix it but now i can't..I think i must delete a file or something..Pls help me!!!!
