I have never found any good dds to iwi converter for mw2, as almost all of them require usage of iwifix. Using iwifix screws up file if resolutions of both files differ

 

But I heard kokole's one works for you. You can do this. Something what NoFate did in alterIWnet times

I just used fireworks to resample my screenshot to 720, the DX sdk's texture tool to convert to a RGB dds, then a hex editor to paste the data on top of an existing load screen.

 

and as you can see, my oilrig load screen is the only shipped one that is not fucked up

I still have a dds converter made by me + master131 which correctly converts images, not needing any hexediting

How is IP/Servername useful on loading screen?

Imagine you joined some random server and his friend wants to join him, instead of waiting for loading to finish and pressing tab he can tell it while he is still on loading screen

I find it pathetic how we promised friendslist suppport, demorecording and codol maps and all you guys are talking about is loadscreen tweaks.

But, demo recording is already there, the new maps are 'in the works' afaik, but I do agree, the friends list should get some attention. But come on man, you have to say new stuff like this is always refreshing.

I'm not too sure why we would need the server IP there (friends system should ercadiacte the need to transfer IP's of a server between 1 player and another). Players could be useful, so could be names.

 

Or maybe, if server owners actually set the website address to something other than fourDeltaOne/alterIW, we could put a domain name of the server somewhere on there?

 

Also, lmaobox has a good point, get everything working before moving onto new items of development.

Erm I see something coming to mind how about the bottom left bar includes a dvar which has their website info on it? i.e. set website Herpies (in server.cfg) and then next to the Team Deathmatch it shows it?
