Ask a friend if you server is visible on the "Server List', if not then you haven't forwarded your ports correctly or your firewall is blocking your port.

iv'e got it working, but i can't do anything with it yet, do i have to install B3 to change maps?

ItВґs recommend to use B3, because itВґs easier if you use it. Or do you want to Alt+tab each time, when you want to change your map, kick, ban players?

both really, but i can't get either to work, MYSQL freezes when it starts processing configuration and the 4d1 console doesn't work. also, i can't change the name of the server? or add a password, in server config. even when i do (name that i want in the "") when i restart the server and find it in the server list, it's still modern warfare 3 and has no pass.

Maybe the server is actually on the list, but your router doesn't support a query on your own IP

Anyway, seems that you're having a hard time expressing yourself. You should try posting here -> viewforum.php?f=22

i not see my server. i try port forward, shouting down anti virus and windows firewall, but nothing.

Ok i have all 4 ports open that the file says to open , as tcp and udp . no firewall or antivirus is installed, i was able to host a server off my pc and others were able to connect to it but now once i transfered the files to my server box . nothing is work and no one can see the server in the list. any way i can get some help on this ?

What do you mean by "server box" ?

Is it another computer on your network, or a rented VPS ?

If not, the DLC Maps can be obtained from the "New Store" in-game.

Free maps such as Terminal and Faceoff maps could be obtained using this method,

Nope. Nobody will be able to connect to a private match. Create a passworded dedicated server instead.

Did you forward ports 27015 and 27017 ?

It's possible that you can't see your own server on the list. But you must forward those 2 ports for other people to see your server on the list, and to manage to connect to it.
