okai, heres the problem...when ever i try starting LaunchIW4M (mw2) it goes like this and iv'e unistalled Mw2 (cracked) like 4 times now -.- and no progress. and i see that this guy has almost the same problem ( i think) ,http://fourdeltaone.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7282 any toughs?

Not sure if this has been addressed before but I couldnt find anything about it in the FAQs so I'm making a thread hoping someone can help. My problem is that when the installer gets done installing it says there will be a shortcut in the start menu to launch the program, for me it never appears. I've tried running the installer as an administrator and making sure im putting it in the right folder following every step of the tutorial up to that point, but it still doesn't work. Any knowledge on how to fix this would be much appreciated I haven't played on AlterIW for awhile and was saddened to find out that it was shut down, but then i was happy to find out this …

I was just wondering what kind of experience is need for tech support because i would like to apply but i'm unsure if i have the experience needed since the requirements are kinda vague i'm unsure what is needed so if someone could please clarify for me that would be greatly appreciated.

Our clan got a server and admins have an IO in front of our name. People in game said to make a thread saying I am asking for a name change. So right now my name is "MetallikatZ I would like it to be "IOMetallikatZ" And if I have to. I guess I could make another account. But I am admin already on our server for this account. Gusy I wanna know if it's possible to create like a program that changes your name or just simply adds a Clan tag because sometimes I go for Recrutment challenges and the other: If you can't create a program that can do that could some one change my name to [ADR]tehPaaKz. ?

Im trying to change the resolution to 1920x1080 and it just gives a black screen. When i minimize i see this http://i.imgur.com/u7osc.png it opens more instances. Edit: now its auto changed itself to a wierd res for my screen and even changing it down gives the same problem.

i press shift to run forward and i take about three steps running, then for some unknown reason the game decides to make me walk. i havent changed anything on my computer, but this recently started happening. i went into the controls and re-binded shift for the 'sprint or hold breath' command, but it didnt fix or help. really criminal since i get all pumped up with endorphines when i press the run button, only to get a big fat stall or stop forcibly put onto me. i've seen the same exact thing happen when i was using steam with the retail version of the game, but it didnt happen anywhere close as often. then it was like once a month or once every three mon…

I can't play this game and the reason is this: PING SPIKES from out of nowhere. One minute 80ms, then 500ms and 999ms. Then back down to 80ms. It can't be my internet connection because this issue doesn't happen with any other game I have. I've taken to using, dare I say it here, alterRev's IW4M version because it doesn't happen with that. But IW4M is your invention, and it's only proper that I should play your version. Any ideas?

hey folks i hope sombody can help me when the update prompt pops up it shows n error and doesnt update and my internet doesnt wort ether all the time i cant load internet pages but windows shows i would be connected to the internet. but firefox and other programms all say i wouldnt bee conectet. than i have to disconect and connect again and than it works for a while. but iw4m is the only programm that cant update even when firefox loads the pages. probably it cant update because of my internet problems but i dont understand why my internet doesnt work after a while. windows says im conected but no rprograms can connect to the internet than i have to …

Guys. i want to make 10 custom classes. but how? i know their is way by Eam hax but i dnt want to start it every time when i play mw2. Is their any other way to make 10 classes? when i played alterrev i was able to make 10 custom classes without running Eam everytime,but now forgot? Can any one help me with this matter?

Hey My account is good and all but i would like to make a new account to change my name, But me being stupid when i 1st started playing 4d1 i saved my account username/password and so when i click launch it auto logs me in, Is there anyway for me to log in with a different account?

I downloaded a mw2 mp only game off the internet. i hv 2 gb ram 1 gb amd graphic card enough space but the only glitch is i am using xp and wen ever i click on any .exe file it says application initalization failed .exe error. wen go to iw4m and input my username and password , then the iw4m console opens and the screen blacks out and then the game closes with an DUMPING error msg. What should i do?........if u hv any link to mp cod mw 2 that will surely run on xp plz tell.........on this same sys wen i was using windows 7 it gave no probs....

Well , you can delete or close this thread if i dont have the permission to make a thread about dedicated servers But , i have some problems. ~ 1)My server isnt shown in the 'Browse Servers' 2)When map finishes , it doenst change. Just re-loads the same map 3)When i change map , it stucks to 'Awaiting Challenge' and it never ends. (i cant even exit ) 4)I cant change the name.
