1) Technical Support is not allowed to warn users 2) Technical Support is not allow to Ban users 3) Staff is not allowed to respond with "Use search.php" 4) Staff is not allowed to rage? 5) Technical Support is limited to and only the Projects sub section. Correct? (These are just ones that confuse me)

Hey guys, I have been thinking of an idea that might help us out significantly (or not) Not sure if this has been thrown out there before but what if we had a topic on the forums that gave people a general layout for how to create "ERRORZ, HELPZ ME PLOX" topics I would suggest that we make a thread on the forums somewhere entitled "please read if you are having problems before making a topic" Yes, it's a bit long but you get the idea then in that topic we could have something like this: ------ Before posting a topic about your problem, please read the following topics: If you still don't have any luck, please try searching for your error here: If you can…

So, it seems ever since the Tech Support group came to be, the name changing topic has just been growing and growing. Are any of the mods, when they are on, Changing maybe even one name? If not, I would help. Since all of you guys seem to have better things to do like look after the site instead of one thread. But if possible, I would be willing to help change the names, though I dont have the required permissions at the moment.

While Oilrig and Burgertown, etc may be out of the bag, I think it would be more visually appealing and logical, from a commercial perspective, to start advertising ported SP/SO maps as free DLC content packs. One of IW4Ms core tenets is that it offers what is "officially" unavailable or unheard of. Free DLC is a myth in the world of Activi$ion...advertising free DLC, port or not, I think would turn a few heads if we were to start phrasing and presenting it in that fashion. One of our community members is working on a port of "High Explosive" from SO to MP. Add a few new map ports, include my heavily-modified AI Zombies Extreme mod (called AI5, I'll release it soon), …

Uhm, guys, am I the only who is concerned about our little playerbase? I mean, the arev faggotry is getting more and more with their crappy client, they are featured on (somehow) big YT channels, other not so small websites, while we 4d1 players struggle to find a server with more than 6 players on it. Shouldnt we do something against it?

Hi there, dear aIW-veterans! Joining your little bandwagon, just like old times. Well, you all know me, so I dont have much to say. Just saying hi! Being a global mod for an estimated time of 1/2 of my life, this regmod-ness feels a little weird. But meh I hope for a better cooperation between staff, than we had at aIW and in general, a fun time! With kind regards and much love (no homo), HankJW

Should we be enforcing the common forum rules on dev/random? I'm sure you guys have seen the recent postings regarding those otherwise prohibited topics. I'm inclined to play it safe, pull the trigger, and lock those topics down, but I just want to consult with the more veteran staff here before we establish a course of action.

Regional sub forums means we need regional moderators, which means we should start a recruitment stage (or pick by hand the desired mods). This is just for you guys to know what will be coming and to know if I have the approval or not of how things come together. I'd also need to know your opinion as to what sub forums should be created. I'd start with Russian, Spanish and German, but there might be other regions that are more active than these and that I'm not aware of.

I just want to be sure, do we allow it to be posted here? Any consequences, or just let it go?

I think that with the (nice) additions we've pulled out (autoupdater, smexy landing page, etc.) it is time to think about the expansion and the repercussions. It is time to start some basic regional subforums to make things easier for the potential non-english users (spanish, german, russian maybe?) and to, if not start, plan on starting a technical support team. With this suggestion inevitably comes the "tech support" subforum request. Things will get messy if we don't start taking precautions. Anyway, I'm quite happy right now, thanks for everything!

I wrote this lovely text to be under the features tab, but sadly, the indentations and list marks are left out on the landing page, leaving it an unreadable mess anyway that this is fixed? Also, small suggestion, a navlink to the landing page The text: FourDeltaOne's IW4M is a modification to Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This modification brings some very interesting new features to this game, including;

Dedicated Servers
One feature so very desired by the Call of Duty community, sadly left out in the original game, makes it appearance in IW4M. fourDeltaOne's IW4M is a free modification to Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This modification brings some very interesting new features to this game, including; Dedicated Servers One feature so very desired by the Call of Duty community, sadly left out in the original game, makes it appearance in IW4M. Everyone is able to set up his/her own server, and change it to their own insight as much as they like. fourDeltaOne is a community focusing on various projects, currently most prominently IW4M. IW4M is a modification for a popular first-person shooter adding various oft-requested features such as dedicated servers, modification support, an in-game console, field of view changing as well as new maps and other features to the game. It is also free of charge.

Now that we have to start over again, and not have aCI implemented yet. I would like to know if a program like vebero's could be made for the time being It can't read the log files anymore, that's why I'm asking if someone could perhaps make something like that
