NTA, BO uses head/body/hat so (if it's .gsc we're talking about) the code can be used from there. Otherwise, I believe all you need to do is to add some extra attach thingies in the character's gsc (which is in the character folder obviously).

 

Once again, ignore this if it's not .gsc - related.

I think server owners should be able to chose between "vanilla" settings and "latest innovations" settings when they setup their servers, then adding this option on server filters and default settings on install should be set on "latest innovations".

 

The "latest innovations" settings would bring stuffs like SP maps/CoD:OL maps/mods/character customisation(if finished), I think this would allow to bring more funny features to MW2 without impacting how the original gameplay for people who wants it to remain this way.

Saying don't work on player customization is like saying don't work on new maps... The fastfiles just don't have the models required to work and using the ones that exist is slightly better than just hacking it and loading another fastfile like in SP Maps.

I know it's not required for the game to work but officially adding these settings would give a kind of order to the game, people would understand more how IW4M works and I guess it'd provide better servers to the userbase ;)

So? The challenge is in porting it, and making one game have part of the functionality of another game, making the first game better. And it's the other way around. IW4M will be like IW4 with ported SP maps, mod support, demo recording, anticheat, with some additional maps ported from CODONLINE.

Why should NTA go through the bother of reverse-engineering, creating NP server, dedicated servers mod support, demo recording, anticheat and additional IW4M features all over again? + CODONLINE lacks a lot of IW4 features.
