I followed step by step all the steps to create a dedicated server i even port forwarded my ports but it seems i can't see my server in server list.

 

I can connect from my computer using internal ip.

 

So i would like to ask someone to tell me if he can see my server. The name is SOF Cyprus Server.

I tried for god dam 3 hours to make a simple 24/7 terminal TDM server and the god dam parameter line's doesn't work i get the same error, make sure the path is correct, so im done if anyone noes how to fix this msg me

Add a space between C:\Users\Littleblackboys\Downloads\Etertainment\Games\Modern Warfare 2\iw4m.exe" and +set party_maxplayers 18

 

so like this:

Go into your config and then just remove the part about the heartbeat to number 3 or so

The code I pasted to you was clearly commented with what to do...

You just make it sv_master3 ""

okay im done i m not getting what your trying to tell me to do and im just wasting my time making this server thank you for all the help but it's just to complicated for me atm

Is it possible to create a server with Tunngle (better version of Hamachi) without port forwarding?

Yes, but everyone has to be in your hamachi group before they can connect to your server and the ping will be around 40 higher then normal. Conclusion: just portforward, it's better then tunngle

install the IW4M files

Very simple problem. The IW4M launcher says it cant launch "server.cfg." That is the name of the server config file i made. The file is the exact same as the one you get from the first post in the topic. Any suggestions? I can connect to the server using 192.168.1.100, but it doesnt broadcast, even though i have port forwarded.

port forward for starters

place your config.cfg into the /main/ folder

now, you need to do something special to make sure it's .cfg

Click organise then "folder and search options" then make sure "hide extensions for known file types" is unchecked

if it's server.cfg.cfg, then remove one of the .cfgs

I have port forwarded, as i said. There is no double extension, it is just not loading the server.cfg file. I downloaded the premade one, it still will not exec.
