Change the port to 28960 not 28961 that what happened to me i just change the net user to 28960 on the shortcut

BUT I CANT CONNECT!?

No one can, and my rcon says it isn't running too, and i look at http://s.mufff.in/iw4msl and there it says that my server is offline too, so what should I do?

Hello, I need some help for loading mods, I got server to work online and everything, but it can't load mods.

 

I have the mod in "call of duty modern warfare 2/mods/modname/z_svr_modname.iwd"

 

I have the shortcut like this: "C:\[...]\iw4m.exe" +set party_maxplayers 18 +set net_port 28961 +exec server.cfg +map mp_rust +map_rotate -dedicated -console +set fs_game "mods/modname"

 

But the mod doesn't show up, I tried loading it manually by typing "fs_game mods/modname; map_restart", but nothing happens.

Is your *.iwd in your /mods folder?

If it doesn't load the mod, then there must be something wrong with the mod...

steps what i did : 1- downloaded the server files and the CMD was downloaded the files correctly, and downloaded the server.cfg file, and i was put it into the main folder

 

2- downloaded the "mods" folder from http://uploading.com/files/fefac4ma/AlterIW%2BMods.zip/

 

3- i was rename the "NoHeartbeat.iwd" to "z_svr_NoHeartbeat.iwd" ,, the .iwd file alredy in folder named "NoHeartbeat", in the folder named "mods"

 

4- i was put the mods folder in the "main" folder

 

5- the shortcut is : "C:\Users\moha\Desktop\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2\iw4m.exe" +set party_maxplayers 18 +set net_port 28961 +exec server.cfg +map mp_skidrow +map_rotate -dedicated -console

 

i was edit the map in the parameters from "rust" to "skidrow"

 

do i forget something, or did wrong ?

Hey, I got two Problems:

1. The Console freezes whenever I try to load a custom made map by me. It just freezes and creates a .dmp (Attached to this post). When I set the maprotation to mp_rust it works fine.

 

2. I port forwarded the necessary port (28961) but my friends still can't connect to my server and it also doesn't show up in the server list.

 

I hope you can help me!

 

(Btw. sorry for my bad english I'm german )

I won't go into your first problem, as I'm assuming there might be some scripting error, and that's not my area.

As for your second issue, besides forwarding the ports, they have to be allowed on whatever firewall that there might be in the way. It's usually the anti-virus or router's firewall blocking the traffic.
