No one can connect to my server in four delta one. My console looks fine (error free). I can see my server on my server browser. I can connect to my own server. But no one joins. Also my friends cant connect to my server using command "/connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" and no one joins for hours.

Help.

I just enabled the DMZ host on my router and that was it. Never had any kind of connection problems after that (I even see my own servers on the serverlists)

Im getting an error when i try to start up our server i think im doing it correctly but i am totally new at this . im used to a control panel like americas army so im trying to get used to all this but

 

My error im getting is Fatal error (0x0000005) at 0x100711b0 Aminidump has been written to iw4m-3.0-113-20121129143422.dmp

 

i did a few things to try to get it to work by editing the map rotate thinking it was because i didnt have the map and i placed one int hat i know i have . but i still get same error just didnt file it writes it to .

 

Is there something else i have to do i followed each set on page 1 step by step .

There can be either a problem with your server installation (missing/damaged/broken files) or you might have an error on the map rotation.

Check the map rotation and see if you didn't make any spelling error.

i have 2 maps in map roatation , so should i add those 2 maps to the parameters? here is the server file i tried to edit it like on page 1 the best i know .

When you want to rotate Afghan and derail use this:

set sv_mapRotation "map mp_afghan map mp_derail"

Remove the DLC maps when you havenВґt installed these.

And the server.cfg is located in the /main folder.

When you want to have a Terminal 24/7 server you need to use this rotation:

set sv_mapRotation "mp_terminal"

ok i think the port is wrong not sure have to wait for admin to get on to unlock the 28961 off his serverbox but now that i have all that done id like to do a few things int he server file i think . because im not getting an error no more just sits there and says heartbeat something

 

Like i see people have things scrolling on the side with name , server , site so forth . How would i do that ?

 

And one more thing , can i use a CODRcon tool i found off the internet? or would that be consider like a hack or something . i dont think i saw it in the forums on here so this is why im asking if its ok to us rcon tool 12 beta2

I prefer the B3 Admin tool. With this you can edit the advertising (you said 'Like i see people have things scrolling on the side with name , server , site so forth') and you can kick, ban, permban players and much more.

yeah that b3 tool might sound all fine and dandy but for someone that has no clue what the heck they are doing and have to remote connect to the admins computer to install things it makes it really hard thats why i need something quick easy and easy to use this all cmd crap is confusing the heck out of me . i got lost on step 3, i installed the or extracted the files then ran the b3_run and did what it said i even download the one of the site where it makes the config file for you but where is the control panel ? i see nothing every time i click the run application .

i made a 4d1 server and i port forward it too 28961 and i used port checker and it said the port was open i disabled the firewall but my server still doesn't come up in the server list. PS my router is a Thomson Gateway. :|

And move the .iwd into your mods/AIzombie folder (create it when you havent got it)
