I type my password and it starts going then it says there is a problem with steam verification. I also do have a legit copy of mw2 on steam though :/

I was on nsnipe server and they are using some visual filter, but i don't know what it exactly is .. They changed look of the game, and they get it more brightness and more grey .. Can someone give me an info what it could be or where i can get/find it .. Thx guys

Seriously it seem's this game is dead before it even started. The only servers that are ever populated are 150+ ping.

I didn't see any topic on 4D1 about a full list of AlterIWM's features. Here are the ones I know: 1. Dedicated Servers (Woot!) 2. Mod abilities 3. Hi, I see there is a continuation of AlterIWnet's MW2 project. I have the legit Steam version of the game now, but I HATE the non-dedicated server game setup. It seems like dedicated servers are available through 4D1 now. However, I can't download the files probably because mediafire and dl.dropbox are blocked in my country. Is there a way I can access this but also be able to play with Steam (I have friends there)? I am level 70 too, and have unlocked everything except for some of the weapon skins and I love my stats, so will that be transferred along or will I have to start from scratch? hi, today i bought modern warfare 2 on steam (yes, i really did) and thought everything in IW4M should work perfectly with a legit copy. but my problem with the freeze after 5 seconds in the main menu still exists. i can't even switch to the console via alt+tab or taskmanger. is it probably due to haveing a non english version of modern warfare 2? i wanted to buy the english version, but it wasn't possible for me due to country restrictions of steam (the international version is banned in germany). the fact that i don't have a VPN atm didn't help either. another thing i should mention: i could never load the map "burgertown" in the old iw4m2 builds (if yo…

I am just though that i would ask but will there ever be a 4D1 Ops? i know that there maybe a legal problem if that was the case for AlterOps but people tell me that AlterIWnet got taken down because of AlterMW3 and not AlterOps can someone let me know if this was the case. who else here things that it would be a good idea to have a updater that grabs the latest SVN's for the server and client and just updates each time there server or client is started. because personally i am getting tired of having to wait for someone to compile the SVN's and then post them on the forum and because i have no idea how to compile them myself and i think that's also the same problem with a lot of other people they just don't know how to do it them self s so hopefully we get an auto updater soon so we can have more people playing and so we don't have to wait to play each new update.

so, me and my friend were trying to play a private match with a bot mod. every time i tried to join him it tried to download the mod from him then gave me an error. i tried downloading the mod myself and joining, now i get an error that says my mod is not the same as his, but it is the same exact one. can i has help ?

Getting this error after clicking on iw4m.exe lads - The procedure entry point _AIL_stream_same_handle@3 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll helps? Thanks UPDATE : New error message.. The MSS DLL file is installed in the windows or windows system directory - it must be installed in the appilcation directory. UPDATE : After solving the MSS / BINKW32 dll stuff I am now getting the error message No IWD files in /main help? UPDATE : Was being derp, fixed by putting the files in the root folder rather than /main.

I suggest that we make a mods repository. This is so people can quickly find mods that are currently working or available for 4D1. I know that all the old mods still work, but not many of the are appearing here on the forums. I know we had a thread 'like' this back on aIW, but I thought that I would try and bring back a similar thread. Yeah the title says it all. When i try press start playing or what is that button called, but i get message saying disconnected from steam. I have deleted and downloaded the FourDeltaOne files about 3 times and nothing helps

Hello, i fixed the last problem ( nobody read it but hey its fixed ) but now i have a new one. It's No iwd files found in main, this may be something easy to fix, but its annoying. Please help!
