Hey all, My mate "yenoz" is every time kick/ban from the server SBTV by the admin ( nils2708 ) with no reason and we can't play together. He is a cod4 player ( acad/preinvite ), with real skill and no cheat. We don't want to play on an other server because it's the unique server with SD promod.

I got MW2 on the day of release, and I still play the legit version. I just noticed NTAuthority got some progress on the project. I am willing to install it any moment, but I host hacked lobbies and don't want to get VAC banned by the new project. In short: Can I get VAC banned running the vanilla game while having the new project installed?

everytime i want to join a server a msgbox comes which says "listen abrufen" the game doesnt start and i cant play sry for my english

Many people like me seem to be crashing when trying to play DLC maps. Is there any way to get around this?

Please help me! If i want to start the game, it says how the steam isn't running, and i can't start the game! pls help me!

Is it only me that having this problem ;( [EDIT] OK it's seems to be a Server Problem not a client problem so wait for a solution :geek:

Sup I've compiled the 3 files in the main folder and then i started iw4m.exe, then i get the error mss32.dll missing. I've already searched on the internet and i say some websites where u can download those files but they look a bit dodgy. Anyways does anyone know a solution? Thanks in advance

I'm not sure if this is suppose to be in the game or not but I was playing a game of domination the other day with my killstreaks set to Care Package Predator Missle and Emergency Airdrop and what happened was when I picked up my care package I got a Pave Low and when that Pave Low got a kill I got my predator and from there on I progressed to the Emergency Airdrop. So I get the Emergency Airdrop I pick the things up and I had gotten a Chopper Gunner from it. So after I die I call it in and get 15-20 kills (it was on a small map) and I got all of my killstreaks again. From there on I got a Harrier and a Airstrike and got my Carepackage and Predator Missle again but…

Banned? Because it's VERY annoying to play against level 70s when you're only level 10.

Hello, where can i download the mw2 mappack`s?

When I start "iw4m.exe" are open the Consol then it Load, and after 5 sec. it come this message "Error during initialization: Your current Steam account does not own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Please purchase the game or try another Steam account" But i already bought the game and I can start the MW2 original. Please fast help!

For AlterIW I could create a server link with something like this: aiw://connect/1.1.1.1 Will IW4M get an URL protocol handler like AlterIW had?

I keep reconnecting to 4D1 and theres no servers on the dedicated list? It showed me the list once and thats it, now i can't see them? Help please i have extracted the files to all the correct locations and double checked that i did it right =/

I have a few questions about the dedicated servers. I know that levelling up prematurely is not allowed and is a ban-able offence and have no intention to use level mods/codes/hacks or whatever But my questions are: Are we allowed to join high XP servers? Are we allowed to host high xp servers? Will we get banned for doing either of the above? If high xp servers are allowed, what are the rules? (I know for aIW you were req. to put the XP level in the server name and 4 was the highest you were allowed to do) Is the dvar(?) still: set scr_xpscale "4" I will add the above information(when/if answered) to the following thread: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2151

I bought mw2 for steam and sometimes I miss using the Trickshoting mods. On 4D1, can we use mods?

I was playing quite happily when i chose to go onto a different server. When I connected it disconnected me and came up with this error "Imur client detected. Invalid .IWD files referenced. C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2/m2demo/iwm2_demo8_.IWD" Anyone know whether it's me or the server? It wasn't anything to do with DLC as it was on highrise. And I hvae the legit copy on steam otherwise the game wouldn't launch.

Every time I quit MW2 and get back on, I am lvl 70, no prestige, with no challenges, and no titles/emblems save the leveling up ones. I don't know what is happening...

Are the servers down...?
