i inserted all files correctly and my mw2 is running normal, but when i start it there is no button for server list in the main menu. with the console i can connect to servers but first i have to find out the ip adresses. that is very awkward. btw my raw.iwd file isnt a iwd file but its a zip file.

Hello, can we host mods?

1) has any one found a way to fix the directx error? 2) has any one figured out how to alt-tab while in the middle of the game or in a lobby? just felt like asking this...cause both of these are getting verrrry annoying

Hey Guys, got legit Mw2 on Steam, but if i start Iw4m it starts , but then an error pops up: Could not find zone dlc_2_ui_mp.ff... Do u got a solution for this? ~Feliyyy

I placed IW4M.exe and the dll and libnp.dll in the root of MW2 Folder then i placed raw.iwd in main folder. When i try to start the game by IW4M.exe and once i login i get an error that says the following: Could not reach the alterIW.net server. Error code from CURL: 7. I don't have any alteriw files in my MW2 folder. And all the files are from steam, and yes i have the game on my steam account. with no vac ban on. Help. Thanks in advance.

When i start iw4m it says my steam account does not allowe Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

my server works fine and the pings are ok but as soon as the map switches all other players are timing out. they are connecting forever until they write "/disconnect" in the console. how can i fix this ?

Hey Guys now I'm not sure who was or who wasn't playing MW2 back in the day but I've just found out that you can do what some of us remember as Care Package knifing, I noticed i was running a bit faster at one point and then i tried it out for 2 lives and I caught up to some people using Mara/Lightweight using it so it is definitely there. If this glitch is here then all the other old MW2 glitches are probably about like the range on the akimbo models etc, I know this game isn't a full release but its just something an admin should consider when the next patch rolls in

Hello, I'm having issues when I'm joining a game it says iwm_demo_08.iwd is impure and does not let me join the game. Then I take the file out and download the Raw.iwd file I don't even get a server browser. I want to join a server where I DON'T have problems with USELESS files. Please help.

Wonder if they mean my code or the raw/ folder. In case of the latter, well, people modding might have to find a different way of doing their mods, as they've always done.

Hi there.i downloaded these files and i put them in the folder like in the tutorial.when i press the iw4m.exe to play and of course a have an account,username and password.It tells me that i don't own the game and i must purchase it,but i have it.i can play steam normally.why i can't play with these files?pls help me.thx

The question is in teh topic title. How do i launch the mods I had for alterIWnet in a private match? I tried the "fs_game mods/(mod);vid_restart" command, but it did nothing. Does anone know of a command? I will be greatful
