Hey guys, just been here for few days and I got problem while launching it, I got Steam MW2 Legitly, and an account on this website, please explain what is the problem? thanks and I downloaded "iw4m.dll" from rechyyy on Facebook which he said the updated version, so i copy pasted it to my ModernWarfare 2 Folder, and this happened.

The bots names are: bot0 bot1 bot2 bot3 bot4 etc. How change them?

Why don't fourDeltaOne start working on some MW3 maps for MW2? Like Dome, Village etc. It would be really cool and would surely attract more players... I can surely help, I've made alot of custom maps for CoD4 and I'm sure I can do the same for MW2....

I cannot go to storm, oilrig, or any other new maps. Where i can download those maps?

Could you add in actual 1st person legs? As was kinda did here by Rendflex...

My server is not showing in the server list, but i can connect to it by using "Connect Ipaddress:port"

Hi, So im a MW2 Player since AlterIwn. Im glad to see A new Version "IWM4" But how do i play on the new maps, such as oilrig, burggertown, and more ? Ive played them on alteriwnet, but , now, i cant find those maps on the browe server list.

Hi, I recently rented a dedicated server (IP is 37.59.48.199:28971). It's running on a windows root and is up to date. While playing I keep noticing many players, who try to connect (they show up in the scoreboard with the green symbol) either time out or leave the game immediatly (it doesn't even say 'player connected' in the lower left corner, but instead 'player left the game', before the guy had even joined). This seems to happen to at least a third of the players who try to join. Now neither my friends nor me are having trouble joining the server, but we're all using 4D1. Is this maybe an alterRev problem? Thanks in advance

I imported my old aIW stats and it keeps loading them in game ...how long takes this...i wait for like 10 mins now

So thats it. I bought mw2 so i could download 4d1 and start playing again, but to be honest, i did not expect such level of buggedness, every other time i try to join some server, i get different errors, and on top of that, my regular mw2 does not work anymore? As the cherry on the cake, what makes my game completely unplayable is that when i aim down the sights: 1. How can i make my regular mw2 work again? 2. Do i have to quit 4d1 overall or is this sights thing a known problem? And yes, i am mad :/

Im getting a problem everytime i want to start cod mw2, i've installed everything correctly and this is my error: "No procedure entry point was found _binkgetframebuffersinfo@8 in the dynamic link library binkw32.dll." That's about it, i speak spanish and my computer is programmed in spanish, so i tried to traduce the error, hope it's right. I fixed it myself guys, if anyone has the same error, do this. Copy the binkw32.dll file from your game directory into C:\Users\Youruser\appdata\Local\iw4m PD: I feel so proud of myself!

Hello Guys, I Was looking for the topic of this problem but i didn't find it. My problem is that when the 4d1 was released i installed it and i could create class, Now that i updated it i can't create classes, can't change titles or emblems. I Don't have a 4d1 RIP MP because now i have 1 Mb/s so i couldn't download another one. I Have the OLD AlterIWNet MP RIP and when i'm at the menu it says Browse Servers which opens the browser. Start Playing which opens the credits of '' Alter revolution '' ( old mod i put ) Barracks which opens the options Options which opens obviously the options And Leave game. SOLUTION: Delete the "config_m2.cfg" in the folder "players", which is in your MW2 Folder. Well, i don't have a map in the minimap. How do i fix this? Thank you!

My game has been crashing for 7 days after playing 15 minutes and is p!ssing me off. Before the last update i had no crash, and the game was working perfect. I have tried the fixes stated on Toolbox's Topic, but no luck yet. My /Main/ folder has nothing else than iw_xx.iwd and localized_english.iwd When the game crashes it gives me fatal error/mini dump message.

Our 4D1 servers are getting a minidump(all at the same time) on different times, and due to the MessageBox that pops up during this, our servers can stay offline for several hours as nobody restarts them(we run them with FireDaemon). Any fix for the minidump issue(it seems to happen when it tries to send heartbeats). Also could there be a dvar that makes the server as "silent" as possible, so that it doesn't pop up any messages at all when it crashes etc, so that autorestart can automatically restart the servers.

Hello, Well am a indian mw2 player.when i enter a indian server after about 5 - 6 sec my game crashes.But this is not happening when i enter server located at foreign countries.Could You help to fix this error.All indian servers have 4d1 client amd alos using 4d1.

I recorded a demo on an iSnipe server.I did pretty well.Then I load up Fraps and type in the console /demo isnipe.The demo loads up and I record successfully until 30 seconds pass.Then the game gives me an error "Lost Connection to Host"WTF? I've been having alot of trouble trying to open my demos recently. with and without demo fixes they're always frozen. along with any other pattern i try to open them with its the same thing, i've sent the same demo i tried to open to 2 other people and it worked fine for them, its obviously something on my end so that's why i'm posting here. thanks in regards to anyone that can help. here's some screenshots of my folders and a video to show the problem. I started playing in 4D1 a couple of days ago and I tried to earn some titles and so I did ,but when I made 25 headshots with LMG for I didn't get it (I really want to wear it). Is their any way to get it now ? Sorry if my question is stupid and also sorry if my english is bad ,but I'm not from an English speaking country PS: I have problems with using EAM (if thats what you are going to tell me to use) when I turn it on it says it can't find "playerstats.txt" .
