Well everytime i start MW2 (The 4D1 Version) it crashes. It doesnt even start the game only the console. I already deleted the caches.xml to update didn't work. It happend after i ALT+Entered to make the game windowed. Before that I was making a mod (or more like testing). I already look at the first three forum pages here but didn't find anything. I hope somebody knows how to fix this. Thanks, Tim. I made a screenshot from the console only three lines tho.

In simple steps, how can I make my own public server for MW2 on 4D1, so that when people browse they can see it. I'm sure I have a good internet, and so it would be good enough to host a server.

Hey there FourDeltaOne community, I have another question / problem. I've been on TDM servers and seen some custom team names you can select at the team selection screen. How would I go about doing this? I don't see anything in server.cfg file. Could it possibly be adding a line, such as 'set src_teamnames' or something? Thank you in advance.

Hello, In aIW, there was a server dvar "aiw_sayName" which I used in my config that changed all console "say" messages to the specified prefix. In other words, instead of "Console" saying it, you could specify the prefix to something else, like "^2[^1eG^2]" (for me) so that clan tags would show for automated messages. Does this dvar exist in 4D1? Thanks in advance! Tom

Hi, I came from alterIWnet and I didn't know there was another program that does the same thing, so I decided to install from scratch and then install fourdeltaone, but a common issue happened (the could load image..) but unfortunatly any of the solutions have worked for me. First I though it was because somehow the iw_23.iwd was missing in my installation folder, and then I downloaded iw_22.iwd because the file size of the file I had was smaller than the one in the site. But after trying those the error persist, is there another solution? Thank you!

Hey, guys. I'm new to the forum and no this is not an introduction. I recently found Mw2 on my Harddrive and moved it to my computer. I realized I wanted to install some skins. So I went to the main folder. I then found that all the folders had already been changed the way you normally would to install a skin. Well, now I open iw_07 and find "Sounds", then "Ambience" then a bunch of mp3s. Can someone send me a clean Main Folder, I can't seem to find the disc to reinstall, otherwise I would.

Hello, I need some help I need to know where I can get VPS, I got VAC banned from steam on mw2 so I want to get an server, just some stuff need to know. 1. If I get VPS How can I put 10th lobbies and mods in the server? 2. How can I install the server. 3. How do I invite people to join? 4. Will I get server banned for modding other people 10th act. 5. Hey, i have recorded some games. And i wanna fraps them, but everytime i load a demo it say : Connexion to the host lost. So i can't watch any videos i made. Someone know how to fix this problem ? Because i've some nice clips, and i really want to record them :/

I already recorded a couple of Demos and I want to watch them. Since I don't know what name do they have, where is the Demos folder located at? So that I can see the the demo names.

hey , i'm missing alot of maps wich without them i cannot play.. i've tried to download files like (mp_complex.ff; mp_complex.load.ff) and still i cannot join the maps missing cause it appears- "mp_complex.ff is out of date,expected version 5" The maps in cause are the one's that appear on /Stimulus Package Map Pack; and Resurgence Pack Map Pack \ Any sujestions , help, i'll be grateful.

One of this crashed with this error in console_mp.log: [ 281819043] handled rcon: status [ 281831026] ERROR: No languages available because no localized assets were found The server was, as seen by the logs, queried by B3 and then it crashed. (it would be nice to know at which time it crashed - are those numbers in the brackets [] UNIX timestamps?) I searched this error and I didn't found nothing. Hi, i just installed 4d1 but i noticed it started like the legit mw2, (i bought it but i don't have it installed) So i didn't joined any server and closed the game, i wont start it again cus i read that some ppl got banned for using this on steam. I don't use any kind of hack or mods. If i didn't joined any server, Can i get VAC banned? i know that if i get banned you guys cant do anything but i just want an answer to this. I don't want people writing comments like ''who the hell cares 4d1 is better than steam version'' be serious.

hey guys , so recently i was playing tdm on rust and after 2 minutes the game crashes and gives me a fatal error so i ignored it and it started popping up again and again , and the error goes like this "fatal error , mw2 minidump has been written to and then alot of numbers" , if you guys know how to solve this please inform me .

When i go to server browser i cant see any servers... it only started yesterday. I have the server filter to all gametipes and to see empty/full/mods... etc someone now how to fix this??

Okay, so I'm starting a little server for me and my friend. Back in the day, me and him would play a RollTheDice mod, and we had a blast. I have my server all set up, I'm just curious as to how I load the mod, and where to put it. Sorry I'm a noob :S can anyone help me?

Hi,so after installing and downloading all the required files for FD1 mw2 to run I played a few games then when the map switched to bailout it said "could not find preview complex).I downloaded the file and tried again but i got a different message saying that mp_complex.ff is out of date,expected version 276.Anyone know a solution to this?

Yes, I tried /uploadStats I make my classes, I can use them in the server, but next time, when I start the game, they have been reset...

I keep getting the Fatal Error and dump but I dont have a IW4M folder in appdata so i cant use the .dll under help! Is there any way to fix this without the .dll
