Hey guys, I've been trying to setup a server for the last day or so.. also tried to get my client to work, but can't seem to do so. Followed the instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2151 And nothing seems to work. I'm getting this error: Steam must be running to play this game Obviously, I tried it with Steam online, offline, and closed. Would appreciate any help, STEALTH

I need some help here. I install the m2 version of Arev and i cant going back to 4D1 version. I try to delete the folder "raw" and run the installer or updater and can not return to the 4D1 version. I do not want to use the crappy version of these fagots animore please help me D: sorry for my bad English I know I look like a caveman.

I'm getting an error while launching iw4m. I just got it today. it was working fine before. EDIT: Ooops, just noticed i posted it in the wrong section.

when I play with them, it seems like they're the same as the ones in MW3!! (which is not a good thing)

I've Googled a lot without answer and config_m2.cfg doesn't show any variable that might be the one. Or mayvbe this is completely disabled... can anyone tell me about this?

Standard resolution is 800x600, so I change it to 1920x1080 and clicked apply. Bam, black screen. I tried other resolutions aswell but always get a black screen, the fuck? Update: I get an error: 'feedbacksampler is invalid', still not helping me though since Google can't even find results.

so i owned this server for along before this got updated to all the funky installer and stuff. now i can get my bot mod to work. so i y main folder and all those files with mod in the local\i4wm place and nothing loads and in console it says when i enter command to add bots, PureturmoilBots Unknown command. help peeopel

As I've pointed out on my last post, there's this problem with lagspikes - random players are affected, which kinda sucks. But I've also noticed that game isn't as smooth as it should be - even on low pings, player movements are jiggly/erratic. Or is it just me?

Does anyone have the tools for making custom camos? Also, I remember there was a tool on aIW that did all the hex editing for you. If anyone has that, it will be greatly appreciated.

As we all know aIW got a C&D. What is different about IW4M that makes it so that NTA doesn't receive another C&D? Just curious.

Hi guys, Well, I installed my mw2 (Legit and fully updated), and then installed 4D1, now when I try to get in a server that runs a custom map (SP maps) the loading bar reaches the end then the game hangs, without an error giving. So, I said "Why don't I post here, I might get a solution for it." P.S: I have the sp maps.

I know there are lots of threads like this, but I have searched for quite a while now and I haven't found anyone with problems similar. So, I've just started my own dedicated server running Burger Town Search and Destroy. It seems to work well; it appears in the browser and everything, but when I join it, the map loads, but I get disconnected with the message "Server is for low ping players only". I find this a bit puzzling, as it's my own server. Another thing that's suspicious, is that when I join, the game seems to freeze for about 3-7 seconds, and then I pop into the game with the map already loaded, and then, when it completes, I get disconnected as soon as it sa…

Just downloaded the game and after 20-30 sec I get this error "Couldn't load image preview_mp_compact" .Any help?

Anyone getting major CPU usage running dedicated servers? I use to run 4 servers on my VSP ( 2meg memory and 2 dedicated cores) with little CPU usage and now running only 3 servers we're getting 70% and up CPU usage with no one on them. Any ideas on how to curve this.
