So soon I will buy a new guitar. I want an electric guitar. I can buy one at any price between 100 and 500$ My question is what is required for an electric guitar to get a sound out? Like are there cables or special machines used to get a sound out? I am new to buying electric guitars. I have been simply using acoustics for the past few years. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello 4D1, Two months ago I bought GTX560Ti Sonic 1GB. My friend bought 640GT a month ago. He runs every single game at maximum settings (Most Wanted, Assassin's Creed III, Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution). When I run any of these games it lags. We both have the same hardware only difference in the GPU. The only 2 games that runs smoothly on Ultra Settings are FC3 and Hitman Absolution. The other 2 games lag at whatever settings they are set. I am pretty sure that 560 is a lot better than 640, several people told me that too, I even wrote on other 2 forum they said the same thing. so i have to make a 3d car(not pretty) for my class, and im having trouble creating an edge on a flat face. on the poly count display, it says my other faces have 2 tris...but on this one face, it says i have 8. i know why i cant create an edge, but does anyone(who has experience with this) know how to lower the count from 8 to 2...or how to see what is causing the 8 tris.
