Ok, so i don't want to use the original IW4M updater, i am a coder so i got a aIW2 (alterMW3) Updater source code, but the thing is i can't seem to launch iw4mp.dat, the original code is Process.Start("iw5mp.exe"), but when i change it to Process.Start("iw4mp.dat"), it asks me with what program it should open .dat file. Please help.

There are so many of them. Everybody seems to be a fucking programmer these days. Tutorials and online stuff makes it so easy to learn it. Wondering whether its worth to choose this in uni. It is damn scary to think of a world with so many programmers. Will there even be programming jobs left in future? What do you guys think? Is the demand of programmers going to decrease in future? How many of you know basic programming?

Hey guys, This may be better to post in the Introductions forum, but I already have a thread there, and this isn't really an introduction. Anyway, I played a few IW4M matches yesterday and I realized how fun this game actually was, and how it removed the stress from my every day activities. I've decided to start playing regularly again (and get my kd ratio above 0.6) and see how that goes. I also think it would be a good idea to fire up the alterIWNet channel again, and use it as a Community channel, where all of us can post their videos, would they be commentaries or otherwise, on IW4 and 5, maybe some other related games, too. Well, it is the time of the year when activision is starting to publish their latest project. As usual, this year it is going to be in E3. Infinity Ward have already stated that they are going to be there. After the big disappointment from IW5M which was actucally IW4.5, I don't think I will buy this game, unless there will be: 1. Mod tools. 2. No deathstreaks, no akimbo weapons. 3. Balanced Weapons (really balanced weapons). 4. Something that will make this game feel different than the other CODs (maybe bigger maps, weaker weapons). So what will make you buy this game?

First VPS, located in Germany; clicky Second VPS (VPS 2), located in The Netherlands; clicky First VPS has 2 gigs more RAM (which is always good), but 10 gigs less space and it costs €8 more per month. BUT, if I go for a 1 year package I need to pay for 6 months only ;p Second VPS seems good too, help me out. Note, I need ~800-900 MBs of RAM if I want atleast one IW4M server and a website/forum. Oh, the first VPS also offers a free .de domain. Note, I already went through this with some people, I'd just like more opinions
