Meh just thought of writing up a thread in here to make a "wishlist" for IW4Mx.

What I would like to see:

- New Maps *ofc*

- New Weapons *ofc*

- New Killstreaks *?*

- Load mods when you start connecting to server not when you're fully connected (like CoD4) *stole from banz*

- New UI Elements

- Nightvision

- CoD 4 code that prints your killstreak and prints in kill feed. (Made a mod for it already and sent it to NTA)

- Re-do some of the weapons (i.e. UMP and reduce damage)

 

That's basically my suggestions. Anyone else?

Dude, a smg that kills in 3 shots at any range is seriously overpowered, making silencer on this weapon the best attachment as it doesn't even affect the TTK over distance. Should be max 3 hit kill at medium-long range and 5 shot kill beyond it with quite long drop off

- Make game summary able to disconnect server and change class (or turn it into a lobby match UI? lol)

- Fix /reset stats (or have tech support staff able to do by 2 person a day if you don't trust us :3)

How about we leave the regular mw2 mp weapons alone? I don't see nothing wrong with them..nothing..

are you going to rewrite FX_Convert from iw3 then?

apart fromt he obvious such as new maps/weapons, I'd like to see this:

-a proper ban system

-ingame class editing

-night mod with flashlight (even though its hard to make, I know)(night vision looks horrible in iw4m, or in general cod)

-lan mode

-somehow balance the UMP (maybe add unpredictable side to side wobble to the recoil?)

-Sleight of Hand pro not speeding up scoping in process when using sniper rifle and making the sniper rifle innacurate while scoping in and 500ms after you started looking through scope. That should stop the pest of quickscopers.

-prevent nuke from ending the match

Then it's not a bug, the chat was too small on the high resolutions, now is size the same on all resolutions.

To be honest it should be configurable via console, as cg_chatheight only limits how many lines of chat is shown.

Hm, played few matches with ump and mp5k

 

Seems that ump is a bit overestimated, it flinches very badly when someone hits you and has weird recoil pattern, and low rate of fire. Then I switched to mp5k, it was way better, in close range at least, making it superior to the ump, for example on nuketown. I guess weapons don't need to be rebalanced(well, maybe some f2000 tweaks and g18akimbo).

What about extended mags increasing ammo? Feels weird that you sometimes have 1,5 mag in the reserve instead of 3.

What about something like this? "New" will light only when nuketown not installed or update available.

Yeah, but oddly enough most people say UMP is still overpowered. After rethinking my idea, I say we should add some unpredictable side to side wobble to the recoil.

F2000 is fine I guess, what do you mean by tweaking?

And the G18 should have a bigger hipfire spread.
