Make sure your firewall is not blocking iw5m_server.exe from accessing the internet.

I started a new thread about this, but got no answers so ill try here.

 

I looked through the forums and also tried to search on google but i really couldnt find a solution to my problem.

 

IW5 has changed its method of map rotation. In iw4, we were able to set the map rotation exactly as we wanted to.

 

E.g

In iw4, my map rotation was like

1st map would always be rust

2nd would be highrise

3rd would be crash etc

 

In iw5, i really cant seem to do this.

I've written this in my default.dspl

 

mp_dome,TDM_default,2

mp_hardhat,TDM_default,2

mp_terminal_cls,SD_default,2

mp_paris,TDM_default,2

mp_bravo,SD_default,2

mp_lambeth,TDM_default,2

mp_plaza2,SD_default,2

mp_underground,TDM_default,2

mp_alpha,SD_default,2

mp_village,TDM_default,2

mp_seatown,SD_default,2

 

But because of this, new weight system, the server randomly selects a map which is listed, it doesnt run the maps in the order that i have stated. Is there any solution for this? Because i really like to play the maps in my specified order

I already allowed all iw5m and hl2 files to access the internet in my firewall. I also tried disabeling my virusscanner, still doesn't work. :l

now, i have to import the sql template, right?

but in the folder b3\sql there are many files!!

Create a text document and add the fields that you want (up to 16 entries)

Then change the extension from .txt to .dspl

This is how a playlist file looks like:

Guess what... you don't have the recipe files...

If you're planning on hosting servers where other people will play, you better learn how to configure your server...

I added "cod8.py" in parsers

"b3_run.exe"

You can only add parsers on the python source code version of b3 (that's why the tutorial tells you to use the source code version)

I did everything in the tutorial or instructions. But when I look for my server in internet tab i can't find it. Neither in lan, but my friends do find my server. I have tried opening various ports and would be happy to here for a way to solve this problem. what i did ( open iw5m_server) it started , then (can't find it). :?

Add this line on your server's cfg:

seta g_password "PassHere"

 

To everyone else above asking about the server not showing up on the serverlist, either you didn't forward the query port, or your router doesn't allow you to parse your own server. There are countless topics about it.
