In windows command prompt (cmd) you'll find your local ip by using ipconfig command.

Then, on the game, open the console and use this command:

connect 192.168.x.x:270xx

Whatever your internal IP and your server's game port are.

 

Okay, i tried that, but it just connects for a few minutes and then says: "Connection timed out". I have to ust the IPv4 Adress, right? And do I have to open TCP AND UDP in my router? I just used TCP...

Forward/allow UDP aswell.

ill just copied my mw3 folder and launched the dsut.

everything fine...

then i edited the server file. just changed the amount of players to 10 and renamed the server.

 

but when i start with the shortcut this message pops up

MENU_CONTENT_NOT_AVAILABLE

 

so may you can help me to start my server.

Post here the the arguments that you use to launch the server.

My server says its loaded up in console and it does everything, but its not up on the servers list!

Nothing wrong with the shortcut arguments. You must have some missing or damaged file. Do a steam check on your dedicated server (steam has a tool to check and fix dedicated server installations)

Guess what... everyone else can see your server on the list, except you.

If your friends can see it on the list but you can't, complain with your ISP about your router (aka stated seeeeeeeeveral times already on this forum)

You're not alone. Many router's don't support queries on it's own IP.

The only solution is to buy a decent router.

You should use the server's "Game Port" (wich I assume it's 27015)

Either your ports are blocked at some firewall or they're not forwarded on your router.

I open 3074,8766,27014 - 27050 ports and I close my firewall + antivirus
