hy i have a problem

i did everything like described and i could succesfully make a server,it was visible,i could play and all but only at the first start

when i started my server again on an another day it wasnt visible and i couldnt connect

i redid everything today but it still doesnt work,its not appearing on the master server list

i forwarded all the necessary ports,my firewall and virusscanner is off,i even forcefully shut them down in the control panel,but still nothing

help me pls this is making me go crazy =/ i wanna play with my friends on the faceoff maps already

Maybe your router is assigning a different internal IP each time that you turn on your computer (one of the major ISPs herein Portugal are giving their clients routers wich do that)

If the internal IP changes, then all your port forwarding goes to garbage and needs to be done again, to the new internal IP.

i did all of the above but when i run server Executing server config "server.cfg"

Hey, I Have a problem with my B3. I nstalled it, but when I start it I get the RCon Error. I set the query port in the B3.xml... Ports are forwarded.

In theory, using the same db might work... in practice, you better not, or you'll mess weapon and map entries all over. It's ok to use the same db to all IW4M or to all IW5M servers. But better not mix games.

The ports that you are trying to use are not available. Either another service is using those, or your router doesn't allow those ports to be opened.

 

You can try something. Open the server's folder and double click iw5m_server.exe

After it loads the cfg, type this command on the console

start_map_rotate

You'll see that the server will now run, but on random ports, wich are not forwarded.

If there's another service using those ports, just choose some other ports for that server. But if your router doesn't allow you to open the ports, then you got no chance to host a server at your home.

Btw: I'm not using the steam version, If that matters
