I followed the IW4M Linux tutorial, of course changed for IW5M, and I get this when starting up the server with Wine:

 

I saw someone else got this earlier, but they bever got a reply.

i just implement iw5m into my server

FYI i use VPS with

 

4 GB RAM

Processor with 8 Core

but i had some trouble like this any one can help me

but if i use my own pc its works normaly

Anyway, press windows start button, type "cmd" and open the application that appears there (windows command prompt). Then type "ipconfig". The IPv4 address that shows up there as default gateway is your router's address. Open a web browser and type the default gateway IP address that you got from the command prompt. Now it should ask you for your login, wich means that you're on your own now.

I've tried this before,doesnt work.It doesnt show any login just that the link is broken.

The problem is not on your b3.xml

The problem is that you didn't put cod8.py on the parsers folder

i got an error in b3 guys it cant load games_mp.log it says it cant read

games_mp.log is created on "scripts" folder.

Should be something like this:

recent days i am facing a strange problem on server b3 loads fine everything works fine b3 showing itself in server but not working any commands not even just blanks.................. help :roll: :twisted: :evil:

If the commands are not being processed by b3, that means that b3 isn't being able to read games_mp.log

and find that server uses game_mp not games_mp and that is strange

I have a couple of questions ......

When I create a shortcut and add the code in target field it is not letting me apply I checked the path and tried again it says incorrect path

Also the can anyone type the code that has to be typed in the dedi. Server exe for execution fo the server...

Sorry to ask, I'm not making a server (my friend is) but everytime he turns it on there seems to be more than 1 server that appears on the server list (but he's only running 1 server), so what might be the problem?

You're not running the source code version of b3

If you run the compiled version, you can't add parsers. That's why the tutorial tells you to use the python source code version.

No, you can't. There are ways though.

If anyone is getting the Steam must be running error on startup of IW5M, Don't Worry as there is a way to fix it. Here's a couple more hints to help ya along (as there are still tons of ppl who still dont know how to fix this and keep asking)

 

1. Folders always store files neatly and nicely

2. Dont Worry, be HAPPY!!!! xP

3. When I right click in the install directory, I like the second last option "new" so much
