I get an error that says I dont have the map files. Where can I get them?

Can someone help me with this error? I can't even connect to a zombie server. Does anyone have the zombies map pack?

So ive been playing on a DOM server lately, and ive noticed that until i join, one team is clearly winning over the next by a large number of points. I think its because theres all these kill-whores like quickscopers who play DOM as TDM and dont go for the objective. What if: Everytime you capture a flag, it counts as a kill? that would increase the need to capture flags.

When I don't have steam enabled, I often get kicked from the servers about 2-3 minutes after joining with the steam connect failed message. Why is this? Does this require steam running in the background?

Today, I was playing on a server that constantly changes mods to not very played mods like capture the flag, VIP, then opens maps like gulag, pripyat etc. My game crashes when a custom map (dont yell not custom , just ported from SP, i know it ._. ) gets loaded after I played some at other maps. Anyway, as I continued to play, Gulag got loaded, (I played on gulag be4, nothing is about map files etc.), it crashed as expected, I restarted the game to enter the server again and play my gulag ( ) but boom! Since the number of servers are increasing.. & since new IW4M is only server-based... So... I would like to have a servers list, like there used to be in old AlterIW version.. Then it was really easy to find servers which u like... In the old version, we didnt had inbuilt command console.. (Used to Alt-tab out to connect to specific server) Now that we do have it.. why not put up a servers list too.. Thanx for your consideration, if u will..

well, i installed the client correctly, but when i run the client, this message appears "Steam Must Be Running to Play this Game" what should i do to fix it? and, this client is only for steam mw2's or i can use a skid mw2?

So, I wanted to reset my stats. I downloaded EAM and I did all that stuff, and the stats did reset. I played a few matches, but the next time I logged in, the stats were back at level 70. I tried deleting the stat files in the "players" folder, but that didn't help. So I figured I would ask here, does anyone know why this is?

Ok. As the development continues, I need to run the map several times per day, depending on my free time. However,I can't load the map. Intead of this, the game goes back to the main menu. Hey guys, Got my first server running now (props to LoserSM for helping me). All there is left to do is tweak the server config files so I can create some other servers such as an XP boosting server(if possible, but if not I don't mind. I've just had requests for such a server), TDM server GTNW server etc. But also need a few lag tweaking settings like the maxfps command (i forgot the exact format of the command and can't find it again.) and maybe some tickrate stuff etc. So if anyone is on the downlow, please learn me so I can get a couple of high grade servers up and running

i can record and stop them , but each time i open them , it sais disconnected from host :s any ideas ?

okay so im running a dedi and i have nooooooooooooooo idea how to connect to it... i try typing /connect 127.0.0.1 or /connect 127.0.0.1:43594 (i made my dedi use that port) etc etc It says unable to join friends game or whatever also doesn't show up in the server list, can anyone help?:L
