Just installed it and got this error

Sorry to bother you guys over stuff like this but after roughly 10-20 minutes of play, my game will close and an error message that says something to the effect of "A fatal mini-dump has occurred at something something"

I need the 4D1 map packs such as oil rig, etc.

I'v found this fix "works for me" but "Do it on your own risk" be careful while doing that! 1.click on windows logo 2.Type "regedit" in search. 3.a-click on "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT" b-click on "PROTOCOLS" c-"filter" 4.Right click on "text" then "Export" and save it anywhere in order to backup. 5.Right click again and select "Delete" The game should work fine now. P.S : If u have any problem after doing that just add the backup file to the registry "open it" but u may face that "Direct x" problem again.

So heres my problem: There is a very odd kind of lag in my server. No its not due to my internet. trust me i checked. I even reinstalled the game. What I think is causing the lag is that for some reason my game and server both use the files present in my server folder i.e server uses files in "D:/server and the game which is present in "D:/Games/Call of duty Mw-2" uses "D:/Server" files. Is this normal? and if not Please tell me how to resolve this issue. I just downloaded MW2, i didn't started it. I installed LaunchIW4M, tryed log in but there is error Moder Warfare 2 - Fatal Error Could not load localization.txt Please make sure Moder Warfare 2 is run from correct folder.

The search function of the forum is broken, but that's not the problem. It's the reason I'm asking this though. I suggest you look into fixing the search button. I used to play Retail MW2 and after that AlterIW on a multimonitor setup using a direct3d injection to make it work on my non-eyefinity graphics card. I also used a tool to set my aspect ratio correctly for such a resolution. On AlterIW, one of those caused a ban for me once, which was lifted quickly - thanks former aIW staff. Hey, I wanna Import my settings from alterrevolution to FourDeltaOne. When i import config_m2 and config_mp and default_720p and start FourDeltaOne the game crashed, when i restart then FourDeltaOne the settings are set to default. Being a past AlterIW user recently hearing about 4D1, I decided to get back on for obvious reasons but after hours of configuring my server, I notice that the "aiw_sayName" command in the config file doesn't exactly do what it's intended to do. So I was just wondering what this was changed to if this functionality was still incorporated into 4D1?

i am trying to run a server thats running the AIzombies mod i think its starting up fine but it wont let me join the game...it just keeps cycling the maps and ending the games... is there a setting i need to change or something???

I don't know if you guys know this, but if you have a old aIW folder, and you install FD1 in it, you can play FD1. So you don't need to buy on steam. And this makes FD1 illegal again?
