When I launch IW5M WITHOUT Steam open it says something like "Steam must be running bla bla bla bla". However, when I launch IW5M WITH Steam open it says something like "You need to purchase the game bla bla bla". Things to keep in mind before replying: I DO HAVE IW5 ON STEAM(I'VE BOUGHT IT) I HAVE ALREADY TRIED THE SEARCH, BUT I DIDN'T GET NOTHING Also, sorry for my bad english. I'm from Brazil.

Does anyone know how to fix the Steam error "There was a problem with your installation please reinstall Steam" because when I open LaunchIW5M it says something like "Steam must be running for initial authentication to succeed." I don't know what to do since I never used Steam to play before and everything was working normally.

All I get is this, when I select some server from Servers list, then going to join, stays on 'Connecting' screen for about 30 secs and then, connection has timed out! I tried deleting caches.xml and players2 folder+downloaded latest files from here, still same issue. Anyone help please? Thanks!

Hello, i installed Modern Warfare 3 today, but when i go to server list and join a server after 10-20 secs i get kicked saying "Server Disconnected, Connection Timeout" If there is any help to fix this?? Thanks

First some rumours - is it that u can host a server by only 'BUYING' a server??? (I met a guy at one of the server he said he had bought a server ) Ok now my problem.... I can't even Add the code at the target field in the dedicated server exe shortcut.. It says invalid target...????? I am a complete noob at server making... Full Story when i forwarded the ports of IW5 from portforward.com, my server didnt appear anywhere, even in this site: http://s.mufff.in/iw5msl Accidently, i activated IW4 ports in my router. after this my server appeared here: http://s.mufff.in/iw5msl and once i close IW4 ports from my router, my server disappears from this list: http://s.mufff.in/iw5msl (sorry for repeating the link- i have a reason to do so) another thing! when i open IW4 ports, my server appears on this link http://s.mufff.in/iw5msl , but it doesnt appear in the Server list inside the game. and i cant connect to my server. Server is ontime. no firewall. no antivirus ..... Whats the Probl…

Well yes basiclly I'd just wanted to know if it would be possible to load SP maps in MP with IW5M just like IW4M, this would be cool I'm sure they're plenty of SP area which could make some good maps inb4 : - NTAuthority has other things to do - No good SP areas for MP

when i join a server, sometimes one or two of my custom classes are locked...is it because i have a attachment or weapon that is not allowed on the server? this is not keeping me from playing, but it is annoying and it would be nice to know why this happens
